Community members are welcome to use the University of the Pacific 图书馆.

Community members are welcome to use the library before 6 p.m., Monday - Sunday. After 6pm, Pacific ID is required for entry.

Community members can seek answers to their re搜索-related questions by asking a Librarian. For information about when a librarian is available, see our 研究 Help 页面.

Community members have access to the entire library collection of over 234,000+ print 书, and periodicals. Check out of material can be done by obtaining a Community Members 图书馆 Card. This only requires being 18 years of age or older, and a valid picture ID (driver’s license or state issued ID).

This includes:

  • Total Checkouts: 10 书 at a time
  • Loan Period: 28 days for most 书
  • 更新: One 28-day renewal for most 书

Community members may connect their personal laptops and other mobile devices to the wireless guest network, Pacific_Guest. (some online registration is required—please see a staff member for assistance).

Licensure agreements for many journal article databases permit 搜索ing within the library facility by community members. Please contact the library if you have specific questions about online resources. Popular open access databases include:

Special Collections and Archives is open to the community. Please make an appointment with one of our staff members.

University of the Pacific Scholarly Commons includes online access to both published and unpublished works by the University of the Pacific community including journal articles, 书, book chapters, 论文, dissertations, 报告, conference proceedings, teaching materials, 数据集, university publications, and digital and multimedia collections. Contributions to this repository showcase the intellectual and creative output of University of the Pacific faculty, students and staff, ensuring long-term preservation and worldwide electronic accessibility.
